Patron of the Breakthrough Cup, Darren Clarke, welcomes you to our website.

The Breakthrough Cup will see Top Premiership footballers (Past and Present) compete at the Belfry each year, over 18 holes to find the Premiership's best golfer.

The 'Breakthrough Cup' supports the charity 'Breakthrough Breast Cancer'.

Congratulations to Maik Taylor – Birmingham City and Northern Ireland International – who was crowned ‘The Best Golfer in Football’ at this year’s Breakthrough Cup, on Sunday 16th May 2010.

Darren Clarke's wife, Heather, died in August 2006 at London's Royal Marsden Hospital after a long battle with breast cancer.

Darren is a major supporter of breast cancer research and invites the footballers, corporate sponsors and public to support what will be a fantastic event and worthy cause.
